This picture was taken while driving to work. I noticed the thick fog while driving into the small valley and pulled over and snapped this shot. This was interesting and slightly scary shot since there were welder trucks and semi trucks zooming by. The fog added a little more to this since I had to rely a bit more on the sound of the traffic coming in order to get back to the car. But the sounds echoing in the valley was very nice to listen to . If one happens to be taking the 20 north and see the fog when entering the "break" I'd recommended stopping by the small scenic area rather than what i did being in the side of the road. That would be the safer option though it isn’t as grand as the higher elevation spots.

These small coffee spots scatted around Dickinson are always interesting to see. though they vary in quality in coffee there is always some specialty that each of these small coffee spots have. For example, this one in the picture makes some alright pastries, and the one in front of pizza hut makes some good mixed coffees. They are also easier to try since they are just a drive through and rarely have the long lines that other spots have. Along with this its always fun to see if one of these small shops turn into a fully fledged shop with a dine in. Though with this there is more of a trial and error when going here since for the most part some places may be pretty bad with coffee or not know how to make certain things like chai teas and such. Despite this I would recommend giving em a try once in a while, especially if you’re in the same boat as me that never has seen shops like this till coming to Dickinson.
This picture was taken in Medora in the national park. The drive in the park was fun since there was a lot of bison that were at a safe distance. though this on was at a more sketchy distance since it was literally a couple feet away. Being my first close encounter with a bison made this really scary since i worried it ramming into my car. Luckily it didn't ram my car and it was enjoying the grass. There was on later on that was in the middle of the road that made things more sketchy but still luckily no ramming occurred. Despite this id recommend going to the national park since it's very fun to look around and hike since the trails are abundant and the views are great.
This picture was taken at work. This picture had some cursed room energy to I grabbed my phone and snapped a photo. The tank was extremely hot and miserable to be in due to the lack of circulation to make it more bearable. The smell in the room was also very awful as well since the stench of the gunk was overwhelming. I included this picture to illustrate some realism in this blog since not everything is sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes its just a hot room filled with vile smelling muck that is difficult to move in and extremely loud due to a vac truck blaring just outside. But on the bright side this picture can be a self reminder of why a college education is very important to have so one can avoid living off work like this.
This was another picture taken at the same location as the other spot. Though at a different level of viewing and different day. With this vantage it gives a different perspective of the landscape on this day there were a bit more highway echos than normal which was interesting to hear the contrast of the crackle of the ground and the industrial sounds of semi trucks zooming by the highway. This also was a quite chilly day to visit compared to the last day I came here, and it seemed that some of the pathways were more worn out or at least i noticed it this time compared to the previous time visiting. After viewing the changes of the same spot I can definitely recommend this location to go on quick hikes along with photography walks.
This picture was taken in Medora. While driving through the national park there were some cool looking rock formations along a part of the trail. When noticing this I thought it’d be a great idea to climb one of them. The climb was pretty sketchy since I had the fear of both having the park ranger catch me and the uneasy landscape of the terrain.Which was both thrilling and terrifying at the same time. While being a fun hike/ climb i would not recommend replicating this since it wasn't and probably wasn't allowed by the park. Unless you like a little danger with your hikes then have at it.
This picture was taken in the evening when there was a near chance of rain. The sunset looked very precious against the canyon. This was a treat to witness at a rest area headed towards Medora and a little past Belfeild. There was a bit of difficulty getting this picture since i had to climb a cliff in order to snap the photo but was well worth it. I also had some 35mm photos taken of this scenery also but am still waiting on them to come. Would definitely recommend  coming here during when it is warm and when there are clouds in the sky to accent the scenery. this place is great to hike and to reflect on things since the painted canyon trail has rather somber sounds coming from the clash of highway noises and nature with a hint of wind.
